Scenic Spectrums and Geoscene have long had a concern and involvement in the assessment and management of Protected Areas, including National Parks, Indigenous Protected Areas, World Heritage Areas and other natural and cultural reserves. This has included assessments of natural values and processes, cultural heritage significance, landscape and visual significance, recreation and leisure uses, as well as management plans and masterplans.

We are involved with and maintain awareness of global protected area, park management and ecological principles, as well as the evolving views on the interaction of protected lands with local cultures and communities. World View - Local Action.
