Scenic Spectrums Pty Ltd and its Geoscene International Division provide high quality services in the environmental, landscape and tourism consulting fields. Scenic Spectrums addresses scenic planning and visual impact assessment issues, tourism development and feasibility assessments, and associated landscape design projects at site to regional scales. Geoscene focuses on district to regional scale geo-environmental assessments, environmental impact assessments, protected and heritage area assessments, landscape ecology and natural resource conservation/management, and deep landscape value assessments that embrace multiple-factor natural and cultural landscape assessment.

Our Team
Scenic Spectrums and Geoscene International offer a small team of experienced and talented planners, landscape architects, urban designers, geographers, landscape ecologists, tourism planners, multi-media and information technology specialists. Our core team is complemented by collaborating specialists from the fields of architecture, ecology, geology, horticulture, zoology, economics, engineering, sociology and other disciplines as required for particular projects. We are a trans-disciplinary group.
Dr. Dennis Williamson, Director, is a geographer/landscape planner/tourism planner/landscape ecologist. Dennis has extensive experience on a diverse range of projects. He is well known for his expertise in all of the service areas noted above, directing projects throughout Australia and internationally. He is also a popular guest lecturer at Australian universities, including Deakin University and the University of Melbourne. He has completed doctoral research, earning his PhD in Landscape Ecology and Climate Change. In recent years, Dennis has introduced a more holistic approach of composite natural and cultural landscape assessment referred to as Deep Landscape Values Assessment.
Ursula Williamson is an information technology and multi-media specialist who also provides excellent project administration skills. She has over 20 years experience in the design and analysis of survey research with customers and users on a range of landscape, recreation and commercial development and marketing projects.
